Now hiring: we are hiring a steam press operator in Ada County, Idaho. You will work at a dry cleaner's. The role involves shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; give each garment a final press before packing; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics. What we are looking for: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings Rotating shifts.
