Vacancy available: we are hiring a groundworker in Brighton and Hove, England. You should have: • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it • Physically fit and comfortable working at height Your main tasks: • Stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage • Clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction • Break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker 1+ years on the tools preferred.
