Urgent requirement: rigging foreman (Michigan)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a rigging foreman in Benzie County, Michigan. The job is in a heavy machinery workshop. Requirements: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear The role involves: • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
