Packaging machine operator • Ashtabula County, Ohio

We are recruiting: we are hiring a packaging machine operator in Ashtabula County, Ohio. You will segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches; set up and start the machine as per the job card; measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges; follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine; report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter; key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature. Ideal candidate: • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges • 1-2 years' experience operating production machinery 2+ years on the tools preferred. $220 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
