Roofer — Leon County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a roofer in Leon County, Texas. You will work on residential new-build sites. Day-to-day duties: • Lay underlayment and tar paper before tiling • Replace cracked or slipped tiles and slates • Seal joints and penetrations with mastic and lead flashing • Solder and seam standing-seam metal roof sheets • Hang box gutters and downpipes for rainwater • Nail down asphalt shingles in staggered courses Ideal candidate: • Own hand tools (hammer, nail gun, slate ripper) • Able to read roof pitch and set the falls • Working-at-height or scaffold safety certificate 2+ years on the tools preferred.
