Great opportunity: VMC operator (Hawaii)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a VMC operator in Honolulu County, Hawaii. The job is at a fabrication and machining plant. What we are looking for: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery The role involves: • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence Overtime paid at a premium rate.
