Vacancy available: brickwork mason (New York)

Join our team: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Erie County, New York. You will be based at a residential building site. Your main tasks: • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays You should have: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks Rotating shifts.
