Great opportunity: dozer operator (Texas)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a dozer operator in Shackelford County, Texas. The job is at an open-cast mine. On a typical shift you will grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily; carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil; maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear; strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse; grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms; clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
