Formwork carpenter • Arlington County, Virginia

Join our team: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Arlington County, Virginia. You will work on a residential tower site. On a typical shift you will seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour; assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN); set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking; fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints. What we are looking for: • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
