JCB operator wanted in Oscoda County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a JCB operator in Oscoda County, Michigan. You will be based at a road and highway construction project. The role involves swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger; backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers; lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains; grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient; inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up; carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels. You should have: • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances Full-time, day shift.
