Rigging foreman — Oyi

Great opportunity: we are hiring a rigging foreman in Oyi, Anambra State. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams On a typical shift you will take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio.
