Urgent requirement: we are hiring a groundsman in Putnam County, Indiana. You will be based on a golf course. On the job you will handle: • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn • Mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds You should have: • Happy to work outdoors in all weather • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
