Vertical milling machine operator — Alameda County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Alameda County, California. You will be based in a toolroom. Requirements: • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work Day to day you will run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe. We offer $3,500 per month plus benefits. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
