Great opportunity: dough maker (Alabama)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a dough maker in Talladega County, Alabama. The job is at a neighbourhood confectionery. You should have: • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen The role involves boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing; pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls; prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity; grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds; shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand. Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $2,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
