Join our team: we are hiring an abattoir worker in Thomas County, Kansas. You will be based in a hotel or restaurant butchery. Requirements: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required You will vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; season and marinate meat on request.
