Site safety steward — St. Clair County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a site safety steward in St. Clair County, Alabama. Day to day you will check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action. What we are looking for: • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot Full-time, day shift.
