Now hiring: we are hiring an escalator technician in Linn County, Kansas. You will work in a residential tower block. What we are looking for: • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways The role involves: • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes Full-time with occasional weekends.
