Ideal candidate: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection On a typical shift you will clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent.
