What we are looking for: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection Day to day you will inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
