Now hiring: we are hiring a banksman in Warren County, Ohio. Requirements: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles Day-to-day duties: • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
