Great opportunity: we are hiring a punch press operator in Ohio County, Kentucky. The job is in a metal fabrication workshop. The role involves record output and downtime on the production sheet; watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed; run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely; set up and change stamping dies and tooling. Requirements: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
