Join our team: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Seminole County, Florida. Requirements: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine The role involves spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
