Immediate opening: we are hiring a confectioner in Adams County, Washington. You will work at an in-store supermarket bakery. Day to day you will roll out short-crust and biscuit dough; laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter; monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch; decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream. You should have: • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
