Auto painter — Crawford County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an auto painter in Crawford County, Missouri. The job is at a busy body shop. The role involves: • Check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch • Prime and seal bare metal to stop rust • Bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint • Wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying • Compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss • Sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting Requirements: • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners • Able to read and match factory paint codes • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
