Lift erector — Ogle County

Now hiring: we are hiring a lift erector in Ogle County, Illinois. On a typical shift you will carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; run load and overload tests with test weights; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; measure rope tension and check for broken strands. What we are looking for: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring $3,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
