Vacancy available: single needle operator (Colorado)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a single needle operator in Bent County, Colorado. You will work at a busy garment factory. Day to day you will topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension. What we are looking for: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
