Vacancy available: cnc lathe setter (California)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Alpine County, California. You will work at a busy machine shop. Day to day you will write and edit G-code programs at the control; load and index turning tools in the turret; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear. Ideal candidate: • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Part-time with flexible hours.
