Great opportunity: we are hiring a dough maker in DeKalb County, Illinois. Your main tasks: • Roll out short-crust and biscuit dough • Score the top of loaves before baking • Grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel What we are looking for: • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Able to work early-morning and night shifts At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
