Join our team: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Donley County, Texas. The job is in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Requirements: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Willing to work shifts and overtime On a typical shift you will check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator. At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $3,100 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
