Die-casting operator — Dass

Vacancy available: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Dass, Bauchi State. You will work at a brass and bronze foundry. You will check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch. Requirements: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Basic grinding and fettling skills At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
