Vacancy available: rebar installer (Florida)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a rebar installer in Taylor County, Florida. You will work on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. Day-to-day duties: • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover What we are looking for: • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire Overtime paid at a premium rate.
