Foundry labourer wanted in Muhlenberg County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky. What we are looking for: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings Your main tasks: • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch Pay around $2,700 per month, based on your experience.
