Immediate opening: cnc setter-operator (Texas)

Join our team: we are hiring a cnc setter-operator in Atascosa County, Texas. The job is at a busy machine shop. Your main tasks: • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand What we are looking for: • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges Part-time with flexible hours.
