Gtaw welder — Johnston County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Johnston County, Oklahoma. You will work at a stainless steel fabrication shop. Day to day you will weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job. What we are looking for: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings 4+ years on the tools preferred.
