Ironing operator — Greenville County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an ironing operator in Greenville County, South Carolina. The job is at a textile finishing unit. Requirements: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets Day-to-day duties: • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Give each garment a final press before packing • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments Part-time with flexible hours.
