Vacancy available: blocklayer (Mississippi)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a blocklayer in Kemper County, Mississippi. On a typical shift you will forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge. You should have: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage We offer $4,400 per month plus benefits. Six days a week, one day off.
