Join our team: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Obafemi Owode, Ogun State. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. Your main tasks: • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
