Press setter operator — Washington County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a press setter operator in Washington County, Maryland. You will be based at a white goods manufacturing plant. Requirements: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses The role involves load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed; record output and downtime on the production sheet; top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts.
