Die-casting operator • Sampson County, North Carolina

We are recruiting: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Sampson County, North Carolina. You will work in the fettling and dressing shop. Day-to-day duties: • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch Requirements: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
