Urgent requirement: in-process quality controller (Alabama)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an in-process quality controller in Geneva County, Alabama. The job is at a busy manufacturing plant. Day-to-day duties: • Compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings • Raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches • Measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing • Log batch numbers, lot codes and traceability data • Calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift What we are looking for: • Able to stand for full shifts on the production floor • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection 2+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $4,900 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
