Immediate opening: overlocker operator (Georgia)

Immediate opening: we are hiring an overlocker operator in Grady County, Georgia. You will work in a sampling and tailoring workshop. Ideal candidate: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently Your main tasks: • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers Full-time with occasional weekends.
