Immediate opening: we are hiring a sausage maker in Pulaski County, Kentucky. The job is at a halal meat counter. The role involves: • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Season and marinate meat on request • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights You should have: • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry 5+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
