Foundry operative — Jackson County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a foundry operative in Jackson County, Indiana. The role involves: • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand What we are looking for: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
