Urgent requirement: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Jackson County, Michigan. You will be based at an auto-components manufacturing unit. On the job you will handle: • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish Ideal candidate: • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
