Offshore rigger • Labette County, Kansas

Great opportunity: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Labette County, Kansas. Day-to-day duties: • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Read lift plans and method statements before starting What we are looking for: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
