Tiling assistant — Passaic County

Join our team: we are hiring a tiling assistant in Passaic County, New Jersey. You will be based on a commercial fit-out project. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation • Able to work to deadlines on busy sites The role involves: • Grout the joints and wipe off the excess with a damp sponge • Check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away • Apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas • Spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles • Lay floor and wall tiles to plumb and level using a spirit level • Level large-format tiles with a tile levelling system We offer $3,700 per month plus benefits.
