VMC operator • Suffolk County, New York

Vacancy available: we are hiring a VMC operator in Suffolk County, New York. You will be based in a CNC machining unit. Requirements: • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery Day-to-day duties: • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance 1+ years on the tools preferred.
