The role involves run load and overload tests with test weights; carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear. Requirements: • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
