Vacancy available: heavy equipment operator (Michigan)

Now hiring: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Newaygo County, Michigan. The job is on an earthmoving and excavation site. On a typical shift you will check for underground cables and services before digging; keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook; break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment; keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines. What we are looking for: • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures 3+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. $230 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
