Join our team: we are hiring a tig welder in Carter County, Oklahoma. You will be based in a food and dairy equipment factory. Ideal candidate: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Own basic hand tools and PPE Your main tasks: • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
